Chief Executive Officer
O’Brien is a microfinance expert with more than 15 years of experience in the microfinance sector in Zambia. He has risen through the ranks from being a Credit Officer at FINCA Zambia in 2003, Branch Manager at Micro Bankers Trust, Operations Manager at Agora Microfinance Zambia (for close to 10 years) and now CEO at UMINO Community Loans Services.
He joined UMINO Community Loans Services in 2019 when he took over from the founder Mr Maurice Kraemer. Furthermore, he has been instrumental for the organizations, particularly in areas such as strengthening internal controls, business re-engineering and the expansion program.
O'Brien is a holder of a Master of Business Administration from the University of Zambia, a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Lusaka and a Diploma in Marketing from Evelyn Hone College.
Chief Financial Officer
James has vast experience in Accounting and Finance, with a work experience of over ten (10) years.
He joined Umino Community Loan Services in 2019, from World Vision International, where he worked as a Project Accountant in charge of Budget development and compliance. Prior to that, he held the role of Branch Accountant and later Branch Manager under Agora Micro-finance Zambia Ltd.
James is a finalist of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) Advisory Level.
Faith Tumelo Moyo
Internal Audit Manager
Faith has extensive experience in the compliance industry in Zambia. In her previous work as External Auditor, engaging in various audits cuttings across different sectors. She brings to the team a keen eye for detail and ensures compliance with all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Faith is currently pursuing her MBA in Finance and accounting with the University of Zambia, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Lovely Professional University, She is a Licentiate member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZiCA) and a student member with the Associate of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).
