Chief Executive Officer – Obrien Njebe
CEO with a demonstrated history of working in the Microfinance industry for more than 15 years of work experience. Prior to Joining UMINO, he worked as the Operations Manager for Agora Microfinance Ltd Zambia (AMZ).
He is skilled in Training, Budgeting, Management, Analytical Skills, and Customer Service and is a highly efficient, innovative, and motivated professional with extensive experience of supporting operations teams by reviewing, developing, defining their overall operational strategy.
He has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Zambia and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from University of Lusaka.
JAMES L. NASILELE CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER (COO)
Mr. Nasilele is a seasoned finance and operations leader with over 15 years of experience in Accounting and Finance. He is a proud member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA), bringing both technical expertise and strategic vision to his role.
Joined Umino Community Loan Services in 2019 as Chief Finance Officer, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening financial systems and driving sustainable growth.
Before joining Umino, he served at World Vision Zambia as a Project Accountant, contributing to financial accountability in development projects.
He also served at Agora Micro-finance Zambia Ltd as Branch Accountant before being elevated to Branch Manager. It is at Agora where he gained extensive experience in microfinance operations and community-focused financial services.
Mr. Nasilele’s career reflects a strong commitment to financial integrity, operational excellence, and community empowerment.
ALINASWE SIWINGWA CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER (CFO)
Alinaswe Siwingwa is a Finance Executive with over 15 years of experience in Banking, Development Finance, Audit, Taxation, and Strategic Financial Management. His expertise includes financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, risk management, treasury, regulatory compliance, cash flow optimisation, and leading high-performing finance teams. He is skilled in financial planning and analysis, internal controls, and providing strategic insights that support executive decision-making and organisational growth.
He is a Chartered Accountant (FCCA, FZICA) and holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University (UK) . His strong foundation in audit and assurance, combined with extensive leadership roles, enables him to drive financial sustainability, governance, and operational excellence in complex, regulated environments.
