Who We Are?
BACKGROUND
UMINO Community Loan Services is a microfinance institution registered in July 2017 to provides financial services to rural parts of Zambia. UMINO stands for ‘UMoyo wabwINO’ which means a good life or better life. UMINO is providing loans to individual farmers as well as Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Eastern part of Zambia.
UMINO’s Vision to improve the living standards of the local, rural people by providing fair, sustainable, and professional microfinance services.
UMINO’s Mission is to grant loans to farmers or small businesses in rural areas of Zambia to start new businesses or to extend on existing operations.
UMINO is proud to be an entrepreneurial-oriented MFI: As opposed to many other MFIs, UMINO provides loans to individual clients, based on a thorough review of the client’s business plan.
